Meet Murray from OPSM, a Wanneroo local having moved here from country WA. As a child he wanted to be a helicopter pilot but found another love in glasses! He is currently spending a lot of time renovating his home, it's 54 years old and he's planning on making it like new again!

Q: Can you tell us a little about OPSM Wanneroo and what inspired you to join the team?
Murray: Our store has been a part of the Wanneroo community for around two years now. It's a beautiful store with a genuine community feel and that warm, country-style service that makes everyone feel at home.
Q: What frames are in season or really popular now?
Murray: We've just stocked up on some fabulous new designer frames! You'll find the latest from Versace, Burberry and Swarovski. They're flying off the shelves!
Q: How long have you worked at OPSM and what do you enjoy most about Wanneroo Central?
Murray: I've been here for about a year. What I love most about Wanneroo Central is its local vibe. Most of our customers are from the area.
Q: What are your hobbies or interests?
Murray: I'm passionate about tropical fish and aquariums. It's a hobby that brings me a lot of joy and relaxation.
Q: What is the best part of your job?
Murray: The best part is seeing the amazement on people's faces when they put on their first pair of glasses and realize how clearly they can see. It's a magical moment!
Q: What products or services do you offer at OPSM?
Murray: We offer comprehensive eye examinations, prescription glasses and a wide range of stylish sunglasses.
Q: What's the most unusual request you've had from a customer?
Murray: Once, someone came in looking for watches. I had to tell them, with a blank look on my face, that we only sell glasses!
Q: What is your favourite time of the year in the centre?
Murray: Easter time is my favorite. The weather is lovely, and there's a festive, holiday feel in the air.
Q: If you could wake up tomorrow having gained one quality or ability, what would it be?
Murray: I'd love to be able to be in three places at once! There's always so much to do.
Q: What do you value most in a tenant-customer relationship?
Murray: Being able to give back to the elderly by being patient, kind, and understanding is something I truly value.
