The U3A Poppy Ladies are a dedicated group of volunteers who knit and crochet handcrafted poppies each year to honour Australian service personnel. The group has become a beloved part of Wanneroo Central’s commemorative landscape since 2021.
Their vibrant crochet poppy installation at the main entrance to Wanneroo Central serves as powerful visual tributes to those who served in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping missions.

The RSL will also be in the central mall selling Remembrance Day poppies between 7th and 9th November.
